🏆 Loft18 League FAQs

Do I need to be a serious golfer to join?

Not at all. Loft18 Leagues are designed for all skill levels — from beginners to experienced players. It’s a fun, social league focused on friendly competition, great food, and good company.

How are teams structured?

Each match is played 4-on-4 (men or women), using a 9-hole scramble stroke format with a new course each week. Substitute players are welcome if a teammate can’t make it.

​

How long does a league match take?

Most matchups last about 2 hours on average, making it perfect for weeknight play.

​

Is food and beverage available during league play?

Yes — Loft18 is a full-service sports bar and restaurant, so you can enjoy food and drinks while you play.

​

What are the league fees?

There’s a one-time $50 team registration fee, plus a $20 per player weekly fee. That weekly fee can be waived with a Loft18 Premium Membership.

​

How many weeks does the league run?

Leagues include guaranteed regular-season play followed by playoffs, with teams seeded based on weekly results.

​

How does scoring work?

Each week teams earn points for: Winning their head-to-head matchup. Posting one of the lowest rounds of the week. Ties are settled with playoff holes, and standings are updated weekly for everyone to see.

Can I warm up before my match?

Yes — each team receives 15 minutes of warm-up time prior to their scheduled match.

​

What happens if there’s a tie?

If teams are tied after nine holes, a playoff hole is played. If still tied, a par-3 closest-to-the-pin shootout determines the winner.

​

Are there prizes?

Yes! Top finishing teams receive Loft18 gift cards, with prizes awarded to first and second place at the end of the season.

​

Can I make up a missed match?

Make-up games aren’t allowed unless there’s a simulator issue during play. Substitute players are always welcome if a teammate can’t attend.
